/10/ won TECHLABS Minsk following a 16-14 victory over ESC Gaming in the final. After ESC encountered problems with their connecting flight from Moscow to Minsk on Friday, the Polish team spent most of the day on the road, trying to get to the Belarusian capital in time to play against /10/, with $3,500 on the line. Since they arrived at the venue at dinner time, it was only possible to play one map, with the effects of the long trip certainly felt amongst the so-called 'Golden Five'.
The map choice fell on de_inferno_se, where ESC got off to a flying start, going into the break with a 10-5 lead after playing on the CT side. But /10/ turned in a commanding display in the second half and turned the score around to secure a 16-14 victory and scoop the top prize.
